Fort Pienc Collective Narratives Competition
Another idea is a collective story-writing contest in which shops in the Fort Pienc neighbourhood will form the basis of the story. Professional writers will publish the first paragraph of each one and participants will then sign up for the tale they see the most potential in before taking it in turns to write the story from there. The best collective tale will win the contest.

La Marina, a better neighbourhood thanks to commerce
Students in their final years at the two secondary schools in La Marina will make a video by interviewing retailers from the ninety shops in the local shopping hub. The interviewees will explain how they view commerce and reflect on how the neighbourhood would be transformed if all shopping was bought online. One of the aims of this contest is to make young people aware of the importance of buying in local shops.
The Immaculada Concepció College in Horta, with help from writer, Màrius Serra, will create a riddle related to the activity carried out by each shop. This riddle will be displayed in the window displays of participating shops and each one will have to give the answer in a special activity book. You can pick up a copy of the riddle booklet at any of the establishments and offices of the Eix Cor d'Horta i Mercat, or it can also be downloaded from the internet. The first participants who submit the book with all correct answers will win vouchers for the shopping hub.
