Fifteen portraits of fisherman in their working environment is the starting point for this account of a day and a night fishing, depicting the struggle for survival of what is the last primary sector activity in Barcelona. The fishermen who appear in the book have taken part in the project 'Marviva', which aims to raise ecological awareness; a pilot experiment focused on recycling marine waste. Through their experience, the authors convey the intensity of life at sea.
