This book is the fruit of a study about the photographic legacy of the Pérez de Rozas family, one of Barcelona’s most prominent names in photojournalism. The first of the line was Carlos Pérez de Rozas Masdeu, one of the most notable photographers responsible for the transformation and modernisation of the language of photography in the 1930s. The book is divided into three parts dedicated to the Second Republic, the Civil War and the early years of Franco’s regime.
