The Sant Andreu district and Barcelona Activa have jointly published an extensive information booklet on the range of commerce in the neighbourhoods of Baró de Viver and Bon Pastor. It is aimed at everyone who goes to work in these neighbourhoods every day.

Local commerce is a factor in social cohesion that contributes vitality and helps to create links between people who go to work everyday in the neighbourhoods of Bon Pastor and Baró de Viver. A booklet has just been published to boost these dynamics, entitled Comerços i serveis de proximitat Bon Pastor-Baró de Viver, [Local shops and services in Bon Pastor and Baró de Vivir]. The publication is a joint initiative between the Sant Andreu District, the Bon Pastor Retailers’ Association and Barcelona Activa, under the Neighbourhood Work project.

This is an extensive catalogue that presents a total of 116 establishments in the two neighbourhoods, divided up according to speciality, with full contact details and a map with their locations. The publication also includes a whole range of offers thought up by Bon Pastor Retailer's Association shops specifically for people living and working in Bon Pastor and Baró de Viver.

7,000 copies of the guide have been published, of which 5,000 have been distributed to over 350 small and medium-size businesses at the industrial estate and some 1,900 to all the shops mentioned in the guide. As the people working in the neighbourhood explain in this report, the guide is extremely useful, for example, for finding a place to go and have lunch or doing some shopping after work.
