Daniel Granados is the director of Cultura Viva, a cross-disciplinary programme coordinated by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona in collaboration with several departments of the Barcelona City Council and other entities and social and cultural projects based in the city.
A musician, researcher and cultural producer, he runs Producciones Doradas, a production company that works with contemporary popular music and is focused on researching social uses for music and new relationships between creators and consumers. He also coordinates and lectures on the Music Industry and Sound Studies master’s degree at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and is an advisor for the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB, Barcelona City Council) regarding policies for the musical field. He is a founding member of ZZZINC (www.zzzinc.net), Oficina de Recerca en Innovació en Cultura, and has created several radio projects (El Diferencial, In-Edit radio, Música paral·lela al Cabaret elèctric d'ICATFM, etc.).
