The ADCE European Creativity Festival presents the future and transformations of the creative process
Over November 9 and 10, the Disseny Hub Barcelona will become a nucleus of innovation for the fifth edition of the ADCE (Art Directors Club of Europe) European Creativity Festival. It is a meeting of the most celebrated personalities from the creativity, advertising and design industries, which this year will tackle the creative process under the leitmotiv “Rewiring the CreativeMachine”.
Through this concept, the festival aims to reconcile creativity and technology in an environment that is heavily impacted by the automation and digitalization of creative processes. Over the two days of the event, there will be a range of conferences, workshops and networking activities to generate inspiration and meetings between specialists in the sector. Star speakers include Neil Christie, CEO of W+K; Maria Scileppi, Dropbox creative; Tim Malbon, Founding Parter of Made by Many, Pip Jamieson; Founder and CEO of The Dots; Conn Bertish, Founder and CEO of Cancer Dojo, and Rey Andrade, Creative Director of 72andSunny Amsterdam.
November 10 will see two of the most highly anticipated sessions of the festival. At midday, the Creative Incubator educational program (created by ADCE and Pi School) will present their conclusions on new business and organization models in the industries of design and advertising. Creative Incubator addresses topics such as virtual and augmented reality and machine learning, looking at the needs of customers and agencies of the future.
In the afternoon, the Disseny Hub auditorium will host the High Potentials session, dedicated to young creative minds who aim to showcase their abilities and meet workers, HR managers and companies from the sector.
This edition of the festival will also see the 27th edition of the ADCE Best of European Design and Advertising Awards, which recognizes the best European works that have previously won competitions in their respective countries. Spain will forward winners and nominees of the C de C Awards and the ADG Laus.
