The Best Design of the Year comes to the Design Hub

Once again, talent, excellence and creativity are called to the Design Hub Barcelona for the latest exposition, “Best Design of the Year”. This collective exhibition brings together the finalist works of the different awards organised by the FAD associations, and displays nearly 500 pieces curated by professional designers according to criteria of excellence, originality and conceptual innovation.

This year the exposition opening will coincide with the Night of the Museums, opening doors on May 18th at the Design Hub Barcelona. The winning and shortlisted projects of the awards announced by FAD associations will be shown by their respective disciplines: Laus of Graphic Design and Visual Communications (ADG-FAD), FAD Awards of Architecture and Interior Design (ARQUIN-FAD), the ADI Awards of Industrial Design, Habitàcola Awards for architecture students, the ARTS-FAD on artistic creation, and MODA-FAD Awards on Fashion Design.

Under the title “The Best Design of the Year”, the exhibition aspires to become a meeting point for professionals and companies throughout the world of design and a shop window for local, national and international talent and creativity. All in all, more than 500 works highlight the value of design as a tool for social transformation and help to understand the latest trends across various disciplines and expressions.

You can visit the exposition until September 1st, between 10am and 8pm in room A of the Design Hub Barcelona. The access is free.
