Two days to discover the production processes of the future
The Disseny HUB has set its sights on the latest production processes this October with two new events: Design and Automation Day and Inter-cluster Day on Advanced Materials.
Design and Automation Day takes place October 4, and will focus on automobile consumption and the possible changes that the future holds for their manufacturers. In a society that is increasingly evolving at the user level, automotive companies will have to find new methods of interaction between man and machine, and adapt to new transport initiatives that are being introduced by new generations such as carsharing.
The day has been organized by Clúster Disseny and CIAC Clúster de la Indústria d'Automoció de Catalunya, and will bring together diverse conferences covering topics such as space, mobility and the automobile-user relationship. The event is aimed at automotive and design companies that want to connect with new new mobility proposals.
On October 23, the Inter-cluster Day on Advanced Materials will focus on new production materials and how societal change and energy use necessitate the research of new materials that can adapt to the rhythm of new technologies and habits.
The conference aims to emphasize the importance of collaboration between different multidisciplinary profiles, combining creativity and technology.
Organized by the Clúster Disseny and the Clúster MAV de Materials Avançats de Catalunya, the event on the October 23 will be the starting point for a cycle of 4 sessions that aim to explore materials and trends in future manufacturing. Special focus will be placed on sustainability and optimization. During the first day, some companies from Clúster Disseny will present challenges that need to be developed together with companies from Clúster MAV, other design companies and those who would like to attend the event.
