Applications for putting up stalls for Sant Jordi 2018

With regard to the Diada de Sant Jordi 2018 (23 April), we hereby notify all interested parties that the application period will be from 21 January to 23 February.

Applications may be submitted in the following ways:

1. Applications presented before 21 January or after 23 February 2018 will not be   processed.
2. You are reminded, under Article 46(5)(b) of the By-law on Using Public Roads and Areas in Barcelona, that in order for the processing and allocation of permits allowing the occupation of streets and squares, the permit holder must be free from any local tax arrears.
3. No permit will be processed in the name of minors subject to compulsory education.
4. Only one application will be accepted per permit holder.
5. Applications must be duly completed with all the required personal details (name and surname/s, DNI (ID)/NIF (Tax ID)/passport number, home telephone, and contact email address) and submitted with:

- Photocopy of the stall holder's DNI/CIF/NIE ((Foreign National ID) or passport
- Photocopy of the representative's DNI/NIE or passport number and express authorisation of representation signed by the holder and the representative, where applicable.
- You are advised to bring a sketch of the location. You can get this by entering the Barcelona Cartographic Information Point website, printing the map and marking the requested location for the stall.

6. There is no guarantee the permit will be for the specific site applied for. There are restrictions on authorising new sales points in the areas listed below,  in order to avoid overcrowding and to provide a more pleasant environment:

- Ciutat Vella - la Rambla
- L’Eixample - rambla de Catalunya, passeig de Gràcia, plaça de Catalunya i passeig de Sant Joan
- Les Corts - av. Diagonal, entre els carrers de Joan Güell i Numància
- Gràcia - plaça de la Vila de Gràcia i Jardinets de Gràcia
- Horta-Guinardó - plaça d’Eivissa
- Sant Andreu - plaça d’Orfila i plaça del Comerç
- Sant Martí - rambla del Poblenou, carrer del Cabanyal, plaça del Mercat, carrer de la Sèquia Comtal
