A new weekend arrives in the city where sport and physical activity continue to be present in the city.
This Saturday, July 21st and Sunday, July 22nd we will be hosting a new edition of Open Rem de Mar, the VIII Yoga Conference, sports activities related to the Poble-sec Festival, the europeans waterpolo and the exhibition of #BCNalGalop at the Olympic Museum and the Sport of Barcelona.
The Can Dragó Sports Center is renewed
Sports Commissioner, Marta Carranza, has inaugurated the new facilities and improvements of the Can Dragó Sports Center, which incorporate new spaces and technological advances linked to fitness.
The new building expands the offer of existing spaces in 2,500 m² distributed on three floors, with natural lighting and a highly versatile space distribution that will help to implement innovative activity programs.

The european waterpolo are inaugurated
From 14 to 28 July, the Bernat Picornell pools, located in the Olympic Ring of Montjuïc, become the stage for the championships.
The event, involving a total of 28 teams, 12 women in category and 16 women in men, is the most important event in the world in 2018 in this discipline and is one of the great tournaments of the old continent.
Classic and vintage yachts come to the Barcelona Puig Vela Clàssica Regatta
Today begins the 11th edition of the Classic Puig Vela Regatta of Barcelona for vintage boats, classics, big boat, 15 and 12 M JI, organized by the Reial Club Nàutic de Barcelona and the Real Federación Española de Vela (RFEV).
The event, which is held until July 14, is part of the official RFEV calendar for the Spanish Championship of Classic and Vintage Vessels and for the VIII Mare Nostrum Trophy.
One year for the celebration of the Barcelona World Roller Games 2019
The countdown of the Barcelona World Roller Games 2019 that will be celebrated in the city next year with an actor in the Pavilion Mies made Rohe de Barcelona begins.
The World Roller Games will be held in Barcelona from July 5 to July 14, 2019 and brings together eleven world championships in a single event, as many different modalities of roller sports: Alpine, Artistic, Freestyle Roller, Downhill, Inline Freestyle, Line Hockey, Hockey Skates, Roller Derby, Scooter, Speed and Skateboard. In addition, they will be qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Open inscriptions of the Mercè Race!
We have already opened inscriptions for the 40th edition of the Mercè Race, which is celebrated on the 16th of September on the occasion of the city's fiestas.
If you want to be part of this special race, hurry up so we will close inscriptions at 14,000 athletes.
This year, in addition, the race is part of the 40 years of popular sport in the city, since many races began in 1979 and this year they reach 40 editions.
