Presentation of ProdArt ’15 residencies

June 17 - 19, 2015

This year, Fabra i Coats - Fàbrica de Creació launched its first cooperation project with the University of Barcelona’s Master in Production and Artistic Research, providing grants to nine students engaged in the “Art and Intermedia Contexts” line for residencies at the art factory that will enable them to complete their work for the course.

The aim of this cooperation is to enable the students to form part of a living context, alongside other residents, at the production stage, and to provide the necessary visibility, within the city’s cultural system, for pluridisciplinary works by the post-graduates from several countries that are taking this MA course.

The end-of-studies art productions in the 2013-15 course, formed by Miguel Ayesa, Victòria Benítez, Tatiana Busto, Luciana Damiani, Alexandra García, Alberto Gil, Edita Kadiric, Albert Lonzano and Andrés Vial, comprise videos, installations, objects, drawings and textual works.

These works will be on show in the multi-purpose area at the art factory this coming June 18 and 19, from 11 am to 8 pm.

The official opening will take place at 7.30 pm on Wednesday, June 17.
