Hidden nooks: The Right Eixample

Right Eixample is a route that want us to show the recovered interior blocks of Cerdà plan and invites us to experience, walking them on the quality of life they offer. This activity is part of Com Funciona Barcelona? program and specifically within the visits and routes to discover the green and biodiversity of our city.

The activity could touch fruits and seeds of different trees that we encountered during the journey, such as platanus, hackberry and tipuanas. When we walk through different types of flooring: from the gritty Plaza Tetuan through the landscaped promenade San Juan and floor full of leaves Gardens Water Tower. We hear the sound of water inside the cloister of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and some put the hand inside the famous beach, the widening.

The route allowed us to talk a little of the water cycle in the city from a mouth of groundwater and an old Water Tower.

We finally ended up at Casa Elizalde, which has an interior landscaped block that you can visit.

In order to make the route we had at our disposal tactile resources such as fruits, seeds, leaves, mulch and embossed sheet Water Tower Eixample. We also have the support of an interpreter of sign language.
