This is an initiative driven by Borough Market to create an international alliance with some of the world’s best known markets.
The market will have 56 commercial stalls, 43 food and 13 non-food.
The project's main objectives are to define a revitalisation plan and carry out an analysis and improvement of digital marketing in each of the selected markets.
This initiative is being organised by the Generalitat of Catalonia's Consortium of Commerce, Crafts and Fashion, and it is taking place on 22 October.
The card will become operational in the Eixample this autumn, and will then be extended to other districts, as retailer associations gradually decide to join. In the case of municipal markets, it will be launched in the El Ninot and Sant Antoni...
The communal tasting sessions will be held at seven markets, on 22 and 23 June, to mark the Sant Joan festivities and on 27 and 28 June, to mark the Sant Pere festivities.

Twenty La Boqueria Market stalls now carry the label that certifies high-quality service and compliance with current commerce regulations.
Businesses can submit nominations until 29 June 2018.
