900 people visited the opening of “Brick by Brick”

The inauguration of Brick by Brick. Ceramics Applied to Architecture took place on September 15 and was attended by 900 visitors.

The event began with the opening conference Clay Houses. Four uses of ceramics in Mediterranean architecture, given by the exhibition's curator, Pedro Azara. The architect covered some archaeological sites where adobe bricks were used, and in a second part, spoke about a selection of the most relevant pieces

At 7:30 p.m., the official opening of the exhibition took place and included speeches by Design Museum director, Pilar Vélez; curator, Pedro Azara, and the manager of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona, Oviedo Valentine.

Brick by Brick. Ceramics Applied to Architecture  runs until January 2017 at the Design Museum
