Success for the first open house weekend

The Museu del Disseny celebrated the inauguration at its new building on December 14th. The official ceremony was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Generalitat, Ferran Mascarell; the Mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias; the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Knowledge, Creativity and Innovation, Jaume Ciurana; and the museum's director, Pilar Vélez.

4,300 visitors attended the inaugural celebration this Saturday. In addition, 10,300 more visitors visited the Museum during the first open house day on Sunday. The open house iniciative allows people to visit the four exhibitions free of charge until January 31st, 2015.
