A conference/concert by Eva Martínez and Pedro Beriso on C.P.E. Bach’s treaty on the technique of keyboard instruments. This work is an attempt to collect all the knowledge of the time – following the ambitious trend that characterized the Age of Enlightenment by the end of the 18th Century.
Bach’s son was directly commissioned for the task by Frederick William I of Prussia, a king with unusual musical interests, and he wrote an essential work which conveys his father’s wisdom in many of its passages.
Musical illustrations with the clavichord José Grábalos and the square piano Johannes Zumpe & Buntebart of the collection.
