From Oxford
Continuing with the collaboration with Oxford Lieder, International Partner of LIFE Victoria, we present the contralto Jess Dandy that with the pianist Sholto Kynoch, artistic director of the British festival, will offer a program with a first part devoted to songs about texts by Charles Baudelaire and a second dedicated to Jean de la Fontaine.
The program includes infrequent authors in the field of the song such as Jacques Offenbach or Louis Vierne, and with the interpretation of the song composed by Cheryl Frances-Hoad especially for Dandy, Une charogneque will be released in Oxford Lieder on 23 October 2019. The youngster is focusing on both the baroque opera, the oratory and the Lied, while Oxford Lieder Young Artists 2018.
