The Museum of Music, the Espai Guinovart Foundation and the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya offer a contest for all those who come to visit the exhibition GU-INNO-VART. This is Sona Guinovart, music for a painting, an interactive contest that encourages visitors to freely release the work of the artist.
How to participate?
In the hall of the Museum you will find a piano and a reproduction of a work by Guinovart. You just have to sit down at the piano and dare to improvise a music inspired by the work, it doesn't matter if you know how to play it or not:
1. Record with your mobile camera, in landscape format, your improvisation on the piano on this picture of Guinovart. The maximum duration is 1 minute and a half.
2. Share the video on your Facebook or Instagram with the #SonaGuinovart, and tag the @museusicabcn, the @espazinovart Foundation and the @esmuccat. The three videos that get more "likes" will be evaluated by a jury formed by Jaume Ayats, director of the Museum of Music, Maria Guinovart, president of the Espai Guinovart Foundation and David Albet, Head of Department of CiC Orquestrals of the ESMUC and member of CONCA. Remember that your account must be public so that everyone can vote.
3. The winner will win an engraving of the artist.
You have until September 30, 2018 to participate, the name of the winner will be announced on the first week of October in social media.
