Natural and Excepcional Uses

Natural uses of the landscape involve activities and features not thought to have serious repercussions on the collective right of people to enjoy a landscape where they can carry on their daily lives. To be able to make natural use of the landscape, developers need only follow the provisions set down in the byelaw and apply for the corresponding municipal permit or authorisation.

Exceptional uses of the landscape are uses that exceed the maximum limit established under the byelaw for natural uses, but which the municipal authorities have expressly authorised.
