    Government measure presented to the Economy and Finance Commission of January 22, 2020. It compiles a series of actions on the mobility and the creation of new tourist imaginaries, in order to better manage the flow of visitors that receives the city, diversify its socio-economic contribution, reduce the negative impacts on high-affluence spaces and contribute to expanding the knowledge that the people of Barcelona have about their city.

    The Territorial Strategy for Tourism Management, framed in the Strategic Tourism Plan 2020, includes 261 measures that make up the roadmap to maximize the social return of tourist activity in the territories, while at the same time considering the synergies with the city as a whole and the metropolitan region.

    Government measure presented at the Full Municipal Council Meeting of 20 July 2015. It presents a series of initial legislative measures: suspending permits to provide tourist accommodation, prior to the drafting of the Special Urban Development Plan for Tourist Accommodation (PEUAT) and the drafting of a new strategic tourism plan for 2016-2020 which updates the previous one, and the creation of the City and Tourism Council.

    Presented as a government measure at the Full Municipal Council Meeting of 29 October 2010, the Barcelona Strategic Tourism Plan resulted in the start of an extensive process of reflection and examination of tourism and the city. The plan's main interest lies in the role of tourist activity in the city. It set out the action strategies up to 2015.
