The project today

Vincles is a social innovation project that aims to tackle a social problem in an innovative way. From an innovation perspective it is important to test the service, so it can be adjusted and corrected if necessary.

The purpose of the pilot test is to tailor the service, technology and care to the elderly people who use it, to social reality in Barcelona, and to see how it might be sustained and eventually cover the whole city.

The first phase, which covered 5 neighbourhoods in the city of Barcelona, was carried out from January to May 2017.

• Nova esquerra Eixample
• Antiga esquerra Eixample
• El Besòs-Maresme
• La Verneda-La Pau
• Sant Martí de Provençals

Service extend to all neighbourhoods of the Eixample and Sant Martí districts in early June and until September:

• Sagrada Família
• Dreta Eixample
• Fort Pienc
