Barcelona Fire Service takes part in “Coneguem l’activa”, a meeting on active prevention
The Barcelona Fire Service took part in the technical session “Coneguem l’activa”, a meeting on active prevention organised together with the Fire Safety Cluster and held at the fire station in Zona Franca.
The event was aimed at specialists and professionals in the fire safety sector, the goal being to help them get a first-hand look at active prevention systems. These systems include devices such as smoke and heat detectors, automatic extinguishing systems, fully equipped fire hydrants, sprinklers and smoke control systems.
The session includes practical demonstrations, drills and an analysis of experiences to learn how these systems function in simulated emergencies. The Fire Service played an active part in the demonstrations, offering their experience and technical knowledge about the systems in real environments.
The event forms part of the training and technical dissemination actions promoting collaboration between emergency corps and other stakeholders in this sector, the goal being to improve safety and efficiency in the prevention and response to fires.
