The Cabaret is one of the boldest and most anticipated events of the Empodera’t Festival. With an open, multidisciplinary, and transformative format, it’s full of performances that wouldn’t otherwise be found in a classic cabaret.

Brigitta Lamoure, hostess, cupletista, social activist, and, above all, a true star! Witty, sharp, ironic, irreverent… yet always glamorous.
Duet Teatre, presents a piece from “La resta de les coses” — a physical theatre work exploring the cost and dynamics of intimate relationships, both between people and within oneself.
Gemma Almagro, “Decadence at fifty?” Only for those who give up. Once again, Gemma Almagro will prove that punk is a lady. A poet, monologist, and true dame, with her project Poesía de Trinchera and her razor-sharp wit, she takes to the stage to share her defiant irony and inspire other women, breaking conventions along the way.
Vici Maurici — an eclectic pop duo and musical theatre students at the Institut del Teatre. Their project offers an innovative take on musical theatre in concert format. Their music blends pop with touches of techno, gospel, and opera — all in Catalan, written and produced in Barcelona.
