Summer opening hours of the centers of the Barcelona Municipal Archives
We inform you about the opening and consultation hours for the public during the month of August
We inform you of the public service and consultation hours of the various centers of the Barcelona Municipal Archives during the month of August 2024.
The consultation room of the Historic Archives of the City of Barcelona will remain open throughout the month from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 h to 14:00 h and from 15:00 h to 19:30 h.
The in-person and telematic consultation service of the Contemporary Archives will remain closed from the 12th of August until the 23rd.
The consultation room of the Photographic Archive of Barcelona will remain closed from August the 1st to the 31st. Virtual queries, via email or citizen service forms, will be attended to back in September. More information.
The city’s District Municipal Archives will close the consultation room between the 12th and the 23rd of August. The rest of the month, the opening hours for the public will be the usual, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 h to 14:00 h.
Exceptions:
- The opening hours for the Gràcia Archives will be the usual, from 9:30 h to 14:00 h, coinciding with the opening hours of the facility where it is located, Biblioteca Jaume Fuster.
- The Sarrià-Sant Gervasi Archives will remain closed from the 5th to the 23rd of August, coinciding with the closing dates of the facility where it is located, Centre Cívic Sarrià.
