Published to mark the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Institut Patronat Ribas, this book recalls the history of the building that now houses a secondary school, the IES Vall d’Hebron, which was built with funds left by the Ribas family and designed by the architect Enric Sagnier in the 1920s. It opened as an orphanage in 1930 and housed a number of innovative facilities and pedagogical methods.
