In the centenary year of Joan Perucho’s birth, it was important to discover his role as an editor and learn about one of Barcelona’s publishing adventures during the final years of Franco’s regime, the Tàber publishing house (1967-1971). Frederic Clara founded it and brought awareness to a taste for imagination, fantasy literature, hedonism, and eroticism. Perucho joined the publishing house later and his personality was expressed through the revival of fantasy literature classics, his selection of rare and unique books, his sensitivity concerning the new language of comics, and his revindication of culinary culture.
