Originally published in 1977, Spain’s first openly feminist graphic book from the post-Franco period, with texts by Maria Aurèlia Capmany and photographs by Colita, is practically impossible to find today. The first edition was immediately confiscated by the Francoist structures still prevailing during the country's democratic transition. The Colita Fotografia archive, Barcelona City Council and the Terranova Publishing House, having spent over two years locating and restoring the negatives, always under the supervision and on the approval of the photographer Colita, have resumed the natural course of an exceptional book that should have never been interrupted.
