Barcelona’s physiognomy is diverse, as are its people too. Sgraffito, a decorative technique applied to wall finishings from the 17th century to the present, is a specifically Barcelona trait that embellishes city buildings and gives each one a unique personality.

Barcelona Esgrafiada invites you to take a stroll around the city to discover its architecture and enjoy this rich heritage of borders, figures, floral motifs, garlands, friezes and even advertisements which, tattooed on the façades, evoke the uniqueness and elegance of all the buildings in the city.

The book includes QR codes to locate the buildings with sgraffito decoration.
