Entorn 1900 plays with the ambivalence of the word entorn to underline the two key concepts of this exhibition catalogue from the Barcelona Photographic Archive. On one hand, the entorn of the city, meaning the surroundings, often referring to Collserola territory and the towns on the plain surrounding the growing Barcelona, and on the other, the date of the photographs attributed to Jaume Anglada and Frederic Bordas, all taken around the year 1900.
