This collective book summarises the most outstanding contributions made
by the Barcelona Model Critical Archive university research group,
supplemented with contributions from several experts in the fields of
architecture and history as guest participants. The aim behind the
publication is to offer a critical re-consideration of the experiences
acquired in the urban model since 1973, the year that the Mayor
Porcioles retired from his post, until 2004, when the Forum of Cultures
was held.
