The stories and oral history of the women in the Nou Barris district who took part in the project entitled "Constructores de ciutat". A collection of graphics and photographs taken from municipal archives and private sources which illustrate the contribution that women from the district have made towards the fight for civil rights. These women were responsible for setting up important movements in order to demand, vindicate and achieve some of the most fundamental human rights.

Isabel Segura i Soriano

Isabel Segura i Soriano (Barcelona, 1954) is a historian, researcher and exhibition curator who specialises in the history of photography and feminism in Barcelona. Her books related to photography include La modernitat a la Barcelona dels cinquanta: Arquitectura industrial (2010), Barcelona en construcció: 1940-1970 (2017), Carme Garcia: Des del terrat (2018) and Barcelona: Fotògrafes/Fotógrafas (2020).
