A look at the history of the neighbourhood through the eyes of women from the beginning of the 20th century up until today. Under the coordination of the historian Isabel Segura, a group of women from Sarrià-Sant Gervasi choose, classify and discuss a selection of photographs taken from family albums and city archives. These images bear witness to the wide variety of activities undertaken by women.

Isabel Segura i Soriano

Isabel Segura i Soriano (Barcelona, 1954) is a historian, researcher and exhibition curator who specialises in the history of photography and feminism in Barcelona. Her books related to photography include La modernitat a la Barcelona dels cinquanta: Arquitectura industrial (2010), Barcelona en construcció: 1940-1970 (2017), Carme Garcia: Des del terrat (2018) and Barcelona: Fotògrafes/Fotógrafas (2020).
