This book offers a management proposal for Barcelona City Hall, taking into account the political, social and economic transformations that the metropolitan area has undergone, and offers new ways for citizens to take part, social collaboration and joint management of services. A new, modern way of government, which employs new mechanisms in order to give more power and importance to the districts. It proposes a more motivating form of management for council workers as well as a units of analysis design for both internal and external information. Its aim is to foster innovation and proactive logic, thereby providing solutions to a variety of social issues.
