Joguets i escriptors

Julià Guillamon (Editor)

Biblioteques de Barcelona

An initiative by the Barcelona library network, this book brings us closer to literary classics from unusual, surprising and unexpected perspectives. On this occasion, the book plays on a fascinating interaction between literary texts and games, with a string of previously unpublished photos of writers with their toys: balls, dolls, cars, trains and aeroplanes. The book marks forty years of the Museu del Joguet de Catalunya, the third most important toy museum of its kind, based in the city of Figueres. The museum was conceived under the inspiration of the poet Joan Brossa, with an artistic vocation which goes beyond toy collecting.
