As well as being the architect of two emblematic buildings on the crossroads of Diagonal and Carrer Enric Granados, Manuel Sayrach (Barcelona, 1886 - Sant Feliu de Llobregat, 1937) also wrote plays and political texts. This book offers an in-depth look into the works of this little known and multifaceted artist. It includes for the first time a copy of his manuscript entitled, ‘New Architecture’, in which the artist reveals his ideas based on the forces of nature.
