This year's Communal Bike Ride and Bicycle Festival takes place a little earlier than in previous years, on Sunday 24 March.
Even so, it returns with the same spirit as ever: a civic and participatory day that is open to all city residents where bicycles are the star attraction.
Communal Bike Ride

Av Aragó junction with Pg Sant Joan
Pg Lluís Companys
suitable for all kinds of people

The cyclist circuit will run along Carrer d’Aragó to Plaça Espanya. Then down through Avinguda del Paral·lel, turning into Carrer Floridablanca along Ronda de Sant Antoni up to Plaça Universitat. From there it will continue to Plaça de Catalunya along Carrer Pelai, Carrer Fontanella, Plaça d'Urquinaona and Carrer Trafalgar, up to Passeig Lluís Companys. From there, it will turn along Carrer del Comerç, Passeig Picasso and Passeig Pujades, Carrer Marina, Carrer Pallars, Carrer Badajoz, Carrer Almogàvers and Carrer Roger de Flor, Avinguda Vilanova and Passeig de Sant Joan, up to Passeig de Lluís Companys once again, where it ends. But not the fun!
Once again the Bicycle Festival, is being held at the Arc de Triomf, starting at 10 am.
This year’s star event will be: a mosaic of people forming a huge bicycle visible from the sky.
This will be a tribute to a means of transport we all love: the bicycle, that quintessentially healthy, sustainable vehicle.
Registration to this activity is now closed.
Thanks for your cooperation!
In addition to the human bicycle mosaic, the central part of Passeig de Lluís Companys will once again be full of leisure activities that are open to people of all ages.
The activities on offer this year are grouped into three themes:
- Fostering the use of bicycles alongside ther means of transport.
- The new Bicing service, especially with the inclusion of more electric bicycles in its new fleet.
- Health and air quality.
