Barcelona Fire Service starts a campaign of talks on fire prevention at home

07/02/2022 - 14:24 h

The series of information sessions starts today and will run until the first week of April.

The initiative includes the communication campaign “Prevention is better than extinction”, designed to explain to citizens the importance of the firefighters in terms of preventing incidents in general, particularly fires. The sessions will show the resources and measures available for the prevention of fires in the home, which affect people the most.

This week sees the start of the Barcelona Fire Service campaign of information sessions on preventing fires at home, organised with the city’s different districts.

Given by two members of the corps, the series of talks provide practical recommendations on how to prevent fires in the home and advice on what to do if a fire starts.
