Montjuïc Castle is once again taking part in the most special Museum Night in recent years. Museum Night 2022 recovers its format as a major city event, opening museums throughout the night, with lots of things to see and activities to do.
The Castle will take part in this great festival of culture with a series of interesting and different proposals.
- Discovery tours: a walk through normally closed spaces, accompanied by a mediator, which will reveal unusual corners of the Castle, such as the dungeons, the old barracks or the poterna. The routes last 15 minutes, limited capacity, without prior reservation and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Gastronomic and musical space: the courtyard will have the presence of the Menja’t Montjuïc collective with its varied gastronomic offer, kilometer zero and very good quality. To round off the experience, Hip Horns Brass Collective will bring their wind and metal beats at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm
- Temporary exhibitions: the exhibitions “Montjuïc, the amusement park” and “The Montjuïc funicular. The Conquest of the Mountain ”will be opened all night.
In addition, all those who visit the Castle will be able to enjoy the best night views of the city from the terrace of the Castle, visit the permanent exhibition of the Interpretation Center and enjoy a drink and some food in the terrace of the Castle cafeteria. A perfect plan for a perfect night.
