An opportunity to visit the permanent exhibition at the Museum of the History of Catalonia: La memòria d'un país [Memory of a Country], which traces the thousand-year history of the men and women who once lived in the land we know today as Catalonia. Temporary exhibition: Tàpies. Art i activisme [Tàpies. Art And Activism] explores the commitment of Antoni Tàpies' (Barcelona, 1923-2012) to a range of social, ethical and political causes in defence of human rights throughout his career via a broad selection of his work and previously unpublished documentary material.
