Anna Maria Iglesia

Anna María Iglesia, born in Granada in 1986, holds degrees in Italian Philology and Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature, as well as a PhD in Theory of Literature, which she earned with a thesis on flânerie and the city of Paris in the nineteenth century. She is a cultural journalist and contributes to different media outlets, including Quadern (El País), Abril (a supplement of El Periódico de Catalunya and the newspapers of the Prensa Ibérica group), Crónica Global, Publishers Weekly and Cuadernos Hispanoamericanos. Iglesia is a professional reader and reads for several publishing imprints.

She is also the author of two essays, La revolución de las flâneuses (Wunderkammer, 2019) and Ese famoso abismo. Conversaciones con Enrique Vila-Matas, (Wunderkammer, 2021), and translated Colette’s Cadeaux de Noël, which was published in 2019 as Regalos de invierno.
