Carolina Trébol
Carolina Trébol holds an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design and a post-graduate degree in Multimedia from the School of Design and Visual Arts of Olot. She works as a graphic designer and partner at Fromzero, a studio she co-founded with Xavier Pérez, where she creates graphic and audiovisual communication projects for companies and public and private institutions, and regularly partners with other design studios.
She teaches Graphic Design Projects in the BA in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia programme at the ERAM University School (UdG) and is the co-founder of the publishing house Crani, which specialises in artists’ books, where she has published several titles.
Her clients include institutions such as the Natural Sciences Museum of Barcelona, osloBIENNALEN, Google Web Fonts, the History Museum of Catalonia, the Girona Art Museum, the Barcelona Photographic Archives, Bòlit and the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, among many others.
Her work has earned her awards such as the Visual Book Design award (2008 and 2009), the Laus ADG-FAD (1998) and the Möbius Barcelona Multimedia award (Paris, 1998).
She combines her professional practice with research into graphic design and visual communication, and she explores new multimedia and audiovisual technologies applied to digital media and motion graphics.
