Gemma Marfany

Gemma Marfany, born in Barcelona in 1963, is Professor of Genetics at the University of Barcelona, teaches molecular genetics, gene therapy and genetic diagnosis. 

She leads the UB – CIBERER research group on rare hereditary diseases and is passionate about science communication.
