This space is reserved for children and families with workshops that are linked to a different theme every year. There will also be a small theatre, with capacity for over 700 people, to hold shows for children aged between 3 and 12.

Barcelona, as guest of honour, will participate in this space with a show and also hold workshops for the children. In addition, for the first time in the history of the book fair, it will participate even more actively: after a competition organised by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia (APIC), illustrator Miguel Bustos was chosen to make the sign for FIL Children and the drawings and interior ambience of the entire venue.
