Behind every book is an invisible process: discovering authors, editing texts and bringing them to readers. The work of an editor combines a literary sensibility, technical knowledge, business training and communication skills. The international Master's in Publishing at Pompeu Fabra University has been training editors, agents and professionals in the book sector for 30 years. Directed by Javier Aparicio Maydeu, it covers all stages of the publishing process. Former graduates of the programme will share their experiences, from creating publishing houses to leading institutions like FIL. Nearly 70 start-ups have been created in its incubator.
