Award winners of the 26th edition

The 2025 edition of the Commerce Awards introduced updated categories to better reflect the current challenges facing the sector and to recognise the diverse values that underpin local commerce.

Establishments, brands and professionals were recognised across six categories: the Handover + Award, for businesses that have successfully undergone a generational transition or change of ownership; the Purchasing Excellence Award, which highlights innovative, high-quality customer experiences; the Award to Brands or Commercial Groups that Revitalise the City, aimed at collective initiatives that generate employment and vitality; and the Barcelona DNA Award, for companies founded in the city that have achieved international reach.

Several long-standing awards were also retained, including the Albert González Award, which honours outstanding careers dedicated to the promotion and understanding of local commerce, and the Barcelona Markets – Jordi Maymó Award, which features two subcategories: best individual initiative and best collective initiative within the municipal markets. This year, the jury also awarded a Special Mention with a cross-cutting focus.
