Turn your business around. Third edition of Open to the Future
This is the slogan for the third edition of Open to the Future, which begins this March. It has increased its offer by 80% this year.
This March, Open to the Future is back in the city's ten districts for another edition of Barcelona Activa's free business training programme, promoted by Barcelona City Council.
The aim of this year's edition, under the slogan Turn your business around, is to continue providing the commerce sector with useful tools which enable companies to cope with the crisis and changes in consumer habits. Hence its increased range of training courses by 80% and offering of 19 more modules than in the last year.
This means that this year, Open to the Future is offering a total of 38 modules, grouped into six training programmes: “The time to make changes has arrived”, “Improving your customer's purchasing experience”, “Your business is a company, manage it!”, “Digital marketing”, “Learn how to use digital marketing tools” and “Business management tools”.
As in previous years, the training is given at municipal facilities and district organisations, at times that are compatible with participants' working hours (from 2 pm to 5 pm). Each module is 3 hours long and participation will be limited to 15 traders per class, to ensure high-quality training.
“Open to the Future” is approaching its third edition with an optimism justified by last year's figures. Last year, over 1,000 traders (227 more than in 2013) and 951 businesses (251 more than in 2013) took part in the programme's 263 training modules. The programme increases its range of courses and number of participants every year.
