The new Barcelona Observatory for Commerce and Restaurants enables people to check city data and statistics on the current status of this sector in a user-friendly format which is easy to understand.
The observatory also provides access to the commercial census visor, a tool developed by the Municipal Data Office allowing users to view statistics filtered by commerce, economic activity, district or neighbourhood, featuring graphics, tables and maps for the whole city.
The tool also allows users to become familiar with the structure of the city’s commercial fabric as an economic driver and defining element in the make-up of the city, whether shopping hubs, markets, iconic establishments or groups of specialist shops.
