The 5th edition of the Growing Business Network programme (Xarxa Comercial en Creixement) starts its sessions this coming 30 May. This initiative from the City Council’s Department of Commerce aims to improve the management of associations and strengthen their role and functions in order to empower the commercial network of the territories they represent. The registration period has opened.
The purpose of the programme is to enable every association and hub to set out a strategic or work plan for helping with the processes of modernising, transforming and strengthening the structures of participant associations, for providing tools and resources to facilitate and optimise daily work and for finding out about other association experiences.
The programme is aimed at board members and professionals in business management and/or revitalisation of associations and hubs. The programme will be held in 10 sessions – from 2 pm to 5 pm – between May and November this year, and divided up into several blocks of training and advice. The content areas are: strategic planning, operational goals, association management, relations with members and management skills.
