Municipal permits and licences

Forwarding or requesting activity permits is obligatory and precedes any business activity that needs to be located in premises, permanent facilities or offices, under which the local authority and/or Department of Territory and Sustainability at the Generalitat [regional government] of Catalonia ensures compliance with the established regulations to be able to start up a specific activity in a specific location.

Where you are having adaptation work done in the establishment you will have to apply for a work permit.
