I have a degree in Humanities from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a master’s degree in Cultural Management from the University of Barcelona (UB). I started my professional career at the consultancy firm Investigació i Consulting Cultural (Cultural Research and Consulting) and in the advisory grant programme for local cultural policies of the CERC (Centre Estudis i Recursos Culturals de la Diputació de Barcelona). I was a member of the Cabinet of the Councillor’s Office for Culture of the Barcelona City Council from 2000 until 2003, and in 2008 I became the Coordinator of Ateneu Popular 9 Barris.
From 2009 to 2013, I worked for Barcelona’s Institut de Cultura designing and coordinating the Fabra i Coats – Art Factory project and the Barcelona Art Factories project. From 2013 until now I have been working as a technician for the Administration Office for Proximity Culture coordinating the network of community centres in Barcelona.
